Service Description

You already know and love our work on creaky voice. Now we’re taking it further. For the first time ever, we’re offering Creaky Voice 2.0 — a practical, application-driven workshop designed for voice teachers and SLPs who are ready to move beyond “make the sound” and into “make it stick.” Creaky isn’t just a sound effect. It’s a strategic adductory tool. In this session, we’ll briefly ground ourselves in what creaky actually is (and isn’t) physiologically — then shift quickly into what matters most in the studio and clinic: How do we train it? How do we refine it? How do we scale it? How do we transfer it into real singing? Because isolated exercises are only useful if they carry over. In This Workshop, We’ll Cover: What creaky truly is (and isn’t) from a physiologic perspective. How to coach singers who don’t immediately “find it” How to troubleshoot pressed vs. efficient adduction How to refine and scale adductory exercises across skill levels How to translate creaky work into phrase, lyric, and real repertoire How to use it creatively and strategically — not mechanically Less lab. Live singing and workshopping the sounds. Less isolated sound. More functional transfer. This session is interactive and demo-driven. Bring your toughest cases — the singer who over-presses, the one who can’t access closure, the one who loses it the second they sing a phrase. We’ll workshop them together in real time. If you’ve done Creaky 1.0 with us, this is your next layer. This will be an interactive workshop with live Q and A discussion. If you aren't able to join live a recording will be available for participants who registered with a 2 week playback period. The Details: Friday, March 20 9:30-11:00 AM CDT Virtual Register now and join us!
